J&B Chicago Associate Wins Rule 12(b)(6) Motion to Dismiss in Federal Court

Associate Madeleine Fontenot, who graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2024, recently won her first Rule 12(b)(6) motion to dismiss in federal court before Judge Franklin U. Valderrama, who adopted Madeleine’s arguments as to lack of subject matter jurisdiction, resulting in a dismissal and a favorable outcome for the firm’s client.
