Madeleine A. Fontenot is an associate general litigation, including cases involving products liability, premises liability, toxic torts, professional liability, class actions, First Amendment and media issues, and business and commercial liability. Before joining Johnson & Bell, Ms. Fontenot worked at a plaintiff's firm in Chicago, working on matters involving police misconduct.
Ms. Fontenot earned her B.A. in Political Science from University of Madison-Wisconsin, graduating cum laude in 2020. She also achieved a certificate in criminal justice and the Dean's List honor in all four years of her undergraduate education. Ms. Fontenot earned a J.D. at Chicago-Kent Law School in 2024, graduating magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, and receiving the CALI Award for her Computer & Network Privacy Class. She also served on the Chicago-Kent Trial Advocacy Team and currently serves as a coach for the team.
