Katie E. Gorrie’s practice centers on construction and general negligence. Ms. Gorrie defends owners, construction managers, general contractors, and subcontractors in construction litigation involving personal injury, property damage, and construction defects. Ms. Gorrie has handled construction-related litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before the Illinois Court of Claims. She also represents clients in municipal matters involving construction-related permit and citation issues. In addition, she has served as both first and second chair for jury trials that went to verdict in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
