A seasoned litigator and transactional attorney, John D. Malarkey concentrates his practice in real estate and commercial transactions. Mr. Malarkey represents clients in mortgage and tax foreclosures including workout strategies for lenders, developers and property owners. Further, he works on cases involving lease and contract enforcement, eminent domain, and zoning procedures. His clients include both public and private companies, partnerships, and municipal entities. In addition, he has transactional experience has included mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, construction, financing, and leasing. A frequent lecturer, he has given presentations and moderated numerous panels on foreclosure and workout issues.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and Northwestern University School of Law.
