Johnson & Bell Shareholder, Christopher J. Carlos, recently met with two companies to discuss the impact of marijuana legalization on the workplace. During a Joint Leadership Session conducted by both companies last week in Chicago, Chris facilitated a 90-minute discussion covering the dynamics of state marijuana legalization as it relates to Federal criminalization of marijuana use. Other topics addressed included trending legalization in states and the impact on Federal Legislation, legal limits and testing for impairment, and liability/policy considerations relating to adverse employment actions dealing with marijuana use.
