Evan T. Ostrega has joined Johnson & Bell as an associate attorney in our Healthcare practice group. He concentrates his practice on defending medical malpractice cases involving hospitals, universities, physicians, nurses, and nursing homes. Before joining Johnson & Bell, Evan worked as a Plaintiff’s Attorney throughout the Midwest for two years, where he focused his practice on Transvaginal Mesh Litigation, Complex Products Liability, and General Negligence at the State and Federal level.
Evan received his J.D. from DePaul College of Law with a concentration in Criminal Law and Litigation. During his time at DePaul, he took an active role in various student organizations, including Student Bar Association and the Business Law Society. He tailored his class load towards civil litigation where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Litigation Lab and worked at DePaul’s Civil Litigation Clinic. Evan Received his B.A. from University of Illinois at Chicago in Criminal Law and Justice, with a minor in Political Science.
