Margaret K. Burnetti is an associate in the Health Care practice group, focusing on medical malpractice and nursing home litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Burnetti worked at a plaintiff’s civil rights law firm. She also clerked for the Domestic Violence Unit of the Special Prosecutions Bureau in the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney.
Ms. Burnetti earned a B.S. in Journalism with concentrations in Economics and French from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. While a student at DePaul, she was involved in the International Human Rights Law Institute Practicum, and was Articles Editor of the Journal for Social Justice.
