Julie J. Busch concentrates her practice in general negligence, as well as transportation, gig economy, and hospitality and retail litigation. She has assisted with all aspects of litigation, mediation, settlement, and jury trials for large, complex disputes in transportation litigation, complex brain injury, and hospitality and retail litigation. Her clients include fortune 500 transportation companies, refuse and recycling companies, national food chains, national food delivery, retailers, logistics providers, and technology companies.
Ms. Busch is a frequent presenter at local and regional conferences. In tandem with other Johnson & Bell attorneys, she has discussed a range of topics, including using the Affordable Care Act to mitigate future medical claims, responding to catastrophic vehicle accidents, and accident reconstruction technologies and their effectiveness at trial.
Ms. Busch is co-chair of the Associates Committee for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law. She also is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Trucking Industry Defense Association. In her spare time, Ms. Busch serves on the Children’s Research Fund Junior Board, which supports the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
