Brad R. Schneiderman concentrates his practice in medical malpractice, health care liability, and general negligence matters. He has vast experience representing hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other health care professionals in all phases of personal injury litigation, including various appeals. These cases have included high-exposure matters involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. His premises liability work has involved alleged elevator malfunction cases, falls from ladders, entry-way falls and other mishaps that have led to claims of serious bodily injuries. He has participated in many trials during his career, and has successfully avoided trial by obtaining summary judgment on various occasions.
Mr. Schneiderman is a member of the Illinois Defense Counsel and an active participant in Chicago Hospital Risk Management Society (CHRMS), an organization dedicated to the advancement of risk management. He currently serves as a Programs Committee Board member with CHRMS and previously served as Treasurer. Mr. Schneiderman has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Illinois Super Lawyers from 2014-2022 and as an "Emerging Lawyer" in 2017-2022 by Leading Lawyers. His peers have also recognized him with an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois in 2004, which he continues to use in his analysis of a case’s potential exposure. Mr. Schneiderman earned his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2007.
