In the month of March, Johnson & Bell’s Indiana office participated in the 9th Annual March Against Hunger campaign. The effort is sponsored by the Indiana State Bar Association and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. Our Indiana office raised $2,270 in donations to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana through various activities like jean days and a chili cook-off.
March Against Hunger is a friendly competition between law firms to raise the most direct monetary donations for Indiana’s 11 regional food banks. The drive ran from March 1-31. Since 2009, March Against Hunger has generated 70,019 pounds of food and $341,435.91 in monetary donations.
