Johnson & Bell Shareholder, Brian P. Gainer, will be a featured speaker at the 2016 International Association of Claims Professionals Annual Conference on September 28, 2016 in Sonoma, California. Mr. Gainer will discuss recent incidents of alleged police misconduct across the nation, and will examine how those incidents affect the defense of police officers and municipalities in civil rights lawsuits.

Mr. Gainer is chairman of Johnson & Bell’s Municipal Liability practice group. A former member of the Chicago Police Department, he has obtained numerous jury verdicts in favor of his clients. In addition, he regularly handles complex litigation matters involving allegations of serious personal injury and death.
