William G. Beatty focuses on product liability and employee benefits/employment litigation as well as defense of asbestos cases. Mr. Beatty represents manufacturers of heavy equipment used in several different industries, as well as electronic equipment and scientific instrument manufacturers. He has also defended product manufacturers and premises owners in asbestos-related lawsuits.
Mr. Beatty's clients include a broad spectrum of employers, insurers and third-party administrators in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in employment-related claims, including Employee Retirement Income Security Act litigation. His peers have honored him with an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Beatty is a member of the State and Federal Bars of Illinois, Colorado, and Arizona. He is a member of the Committees on Employment Law, Life, Health and Disability Insurance and Product Liability of the Defense Research Institute. He is also a member of the Trial Practice and Employment Law Sections of the State Bar of Arizona, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.
