Timothy E. Hameetman concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice litigation, hospital liability, long-term care litigation and general liability defense. He represents a range of clients from small business owners, nursing homes and hospitals to large municipalities.
Mr. Hameetman received a dual-undergraduate degree in legal studies and political science from the University of Illinois’s Springfield campus, as well as a master’s degree in Political Science. During this time, Mr. Hameetman gained experience in the distinguished GPSI program, helping to amend the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act on behalf of the Illinois Department on Aging. In 2020, Mr. Hameetman earned his JD from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School (formerly The John Marshall Law School). While a student, he participated in the 1L mock trial, a national Moot Court competition, was elected to the Board of Women’s Law Caucus as well as the President of Children and Family Law Society.
