Mallory G. Burney concentrates her practice in the areas of medical malpractice litigation, hospital liability defense, and long-term care litigation. She represents hospitals, universities, physicians, nurses, and nursing homes in a wide variety of medical actions, including disputes related to the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act.
Ms. Burney received her B.A. in neuroscience, cum laude, from Lake Forest College in 2017, and her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2021. While a student at Loyola, Ms. Burney was elected by her peers to the Dean’s Advisory Committee and was published in Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences. She was also a member of Loyola’s Health Law Moot Court Team and was named to the Dean’s List for five semesters.
