Johnson & Bell Shareholder, Mark D. Belongia, discussed commercial real estate transactions gone bad in a teleseminar presented by the Professional Education Broadcast Network. Mr. Belongia, along with Anthony Licata of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and Richard Goldberg, a retired partner from Ballard Spahr, spoke on “Unwinding A Commercial Real Estate Transaction Gone Bad”, part 1 and 2. During this teleseminar, Mr. Belongia discussed issues regarding the complications and limitations involving specialized lenders, drafting forbearance and loan modification agreements, receivership of distressed properties and planning to emerge from receivership, and other aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
