Garrett L. Boehm, Jr., concentrates his practice in appellate law, business litigation, employment, environmental and toxic tort law.

Mr. Boehm has prosecuted and defended appeals in a wide array of tort, contract and administrative law matters. He has submitted briefs and given oral argument in each Illinois Appellate Court district and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also successfully handled disputes appealed to the Illinois Supreme Court.

In the business litigation sphere, Mr. Boehm has handled the defense of class action disputes involving allegations of consumer fraud, violation of federal statutes such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act, among others. Mr. Boehm also advises corporations and individuals in employment and labor disputes. He also regularly represents corporations in commercial contract disputes in court and at arbitration.

Mr. Boehm advises corporations, public entities and individuals in cases alleging violation of federal and state environmental statutes and regulations. In addition, Mr. Boehm litigates toxic tort disputes involving occupational exposure to asbestos for corporations throughout Illinois.

From 2011 through 2015, Mr. Boehm has been honored as an Illinois Super Lawyers “Rising Star.” He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Defense Counsel Association, the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, and the Appellate Lawyers Association, where he serves as co-chair of the Rules Committee.
