Dennis C. Cusack is the co-chair of Johnson and Bell's General Negligence group and concentrates his practice on construction liability, product liability and mass tort/class action claims. He also focuses on commercial litigation. Mr. Cusack also has experience handling Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) cases, including current representation of a manufacturer of mining equipment in a wrongful death case. For the past two years, he has represented an insurance company in breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims arising from first-party insurance claims.
Mr. Cusack has represented paramedics, construction contractors, foreign and domestic product manufacturers, component part manufacturers and distributors. He has won favorable verdicts, dismissals and pretrial settlements for his clients. He also regularly represents his clients at mediation/arbitration.
In recognition of his trial abilities, his peers nominated him for an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbel. He is a member of the ALFA Products Liability Group and has spoken on topics related to his practice including "Legacy Liability" and "Company Web Sites: Are We Inviting Product Liability Litigation?" Mr. Cusack received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and is past President of the Fenwick Bar Association.
