Constance M. Dukes concentrates her practice in health care law, focusing on medical malpractice, wrongful death and nursing home negligence. She helps defend multiple area hospitals, clinics, physicians, nurses and long-term care facilities. Prior to joining Johnson & Bell, Ms. Dukes worked at a prominent plaintiff's personal injury firm in Chicago, prosecuting complex medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability and wrongful death cases.
Ms. Dukes received her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. During law school, Ms. Dukes was a law clerk at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm, and she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Terrence J. Lavin of the Illinois Appellate Court’s First District. In addition, she was appointed to the Executive Board of DePaul’s Black Law Students Association.
In 2016, Ms. Dukes was nominated into the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
