Johnson & Bell’s Jessica K. Velez will be moderating a panel discussion at the Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Conference on September 23rd, 2020 from 10:00 am- 11:00am (CST). In this virtual event, Ms. Velez, an HNBA Latina Commissioner for Chicago, Illinois, and Norma Manjarrez, an Associate Attorney at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart in Chicago, Illinois, will be moderating, "Career Mapping: Creating and Maintaining a Business Development Plan while Social Distancing." The panelists include Sulema Medrano-Novak, a Partner at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, and the HNBA Latina Commission Chair for Chicago, Illinois; Pedro DeJesus, the Head of International Business and EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Tampico Beverages in Chicago, Illinois: and Stephen J. Quezada, a Shareholder at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart in Houston, Texas. They will be discussing tips and techniques that can be used by junior and mid-level associates to create and develop individual business plans in this time of social distancing.
