Johnson & Bell Shareholder, Christopher J. Carlos, will be a featured panelist at the 2015 National Latina/o Law Student Association (NLLSA) Conference and Moot Court Competition. The 19th annual NLLSA conference will take place in Chicago, October 1-3, 2015. With the theme of “Liderazgo y Communidad” (“Leadership and Community”), this year’s conference will focus on the development and sharpening of participating law students’ leadership skills, as well as provide a vast forum for networking with Chicago’s legal community.
Mr. Carlos will be participating in a panel entitled “Big Law Firms vs. Small/Mid-Sized Firms.” This panel will explore the differences between big law practice and
small/mid-sized law practice. Panelists will share their experiences working at different law firms and answer questions about their practice, providing insight into the varied types of law firms.
Mr. Carlos focuses his practice on construction law, employment law, general negligence and toxic tort. He is an experience defense attorney who remains an involved member of the Chicago legal community.
NLLSA is every Latina/o law student’s connection to the larger Latina/o legal community. The organization aspires to inform, excite and empower generations of Latina/o law students so that they may be responsive to the legal needs of the communities that surround them.
