The Board of Directors of The Society of Trial Lawyers elected Brian C. Fetzer to its board on September 12, 2017. Founded in 1934, The Society of Trial Lawyers is an invitation-only group that includes many of Chicago’s top trial lawyers on both the defense and plaintiffs’ sides.

The Society encourages and fosters a spirit of loyalty and fraternity among trial lawyers, as well as maintains the highest ethical standards in the trial of cases. Another goal of the Society is to promote closer relationships between and among trial lawyers and the judiciary to further their common interests in the jury trial system.

Brian is co-chair of Johnson & Bell’s Health Care group, and concentrates his practice on health care law, as well as product liability. He has won multiple honors, including the Trial Lawyers Excellence Award in 2010 by the Jury Verdict Reporter and an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a nomination by his peers. He was also named as one of the “Top 20 Defense Lawyers” in Chicago by Chicago Lawyer magazine.

In addition to Mr. Fetzer, several Johnson & Bell Shareholders also are members of the Society of Trial Lawyers, including: John W. Bell, Joseph B. Carini, III, Glenn F. Fencl, William V. Johnson, Joseph R. Marconi, H. Patrick Morris, Jack T. Riley, Jr., James K. Toohey and Margaret (Peggy) Unger.

Brian's election also was published in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
