In the month of March, Johnson & Bell’s Indiana office participated in the Indiana Attorney General’s 8th Annual March Against Hunger campaign. Associate attorney, Michael J. Bolde, who organized the effort, reports that our Indiana office raised $1,875 in donations to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana through jean days and a chili cook-off. Our Indiana office also donated 397 pounds of food to the March Against Hunger campaign.
March Against Hunger is a friendly competition between law firms to raise the most donations – either of non-perishable foods or direct monetary contributions – for Indiana’s 11 regional food banks. The drive runs from March 1-31. Since 2009, March Against Hunger has generated 62,459 pounds of food and $282,027.91 in monetary donations. For more information about the program, please click here.
